This week's band is originated from Bahia, Vitoria Da Conquista a place where you hear hardcore with a thick brazilian-portuguese accent, putting out all the fury and anger through music.
With the singer Nem’s irreverence and lack of commitment to commercial standards, made
​​the Cama de Jornal (Bed of Newspapers, that would best means, be in condition of misery and abandonment) became known throughout the region. Today around the whole country, now hope that with punk rock de Conquista (conquest), they will also conquest subversive folks of the old continent.
It was in March 2003 already with the classic formation of the punk band on drums Helder, Rose on bass, guitar and Lázaro on Nem recorded on vocals in the studio Radioative Hippies their debut album, titled A Revolta dos Miseraveis.com 10 tracks written by the band and a Olho Seco’s cover. A year after in 2004 demo recorded a live at the Point Do Rock, in late 2004 has released the cd Comendo Lixo and also recorded a demo with 18 tracks of pure old school punk rock with 16 tracks a cover of a local legends Atestado De Pobreza, and another Grito of the punk band Punk, both of Vitoria Da Conquista.

In 2006 the band recorded Nada a Perder, cd released by the Nem’s label Tosco Todo vocalist.
Distributed by Coritiba’s Terceiro Mundo Caos discos and Amparo's selo DMN (São Paulo). The third album continues the band with his old school punk rock, complete with a cover of of one of the best punk rock bands ever the world's classic Quanto Vale a Liberdade from Cólera.

In 2009 they released the album punk Rock de Conquista (conquest also part name of their town ) with 10 tracks by is their fourth album recorded in Studio which had the special participation of the Dalmo (vocalist "Atestado Invasores Pobreza") and Houly (vocalist "Harda punk ') band of Santa Catarina,also had the participation on the compilation Inde Rock Promo, released by Zine Inde, participated in the Counter Culture compilation conceived by members of the Horde Punk of Santa Catarina, , featuring the band Invasores De Cerebros . Also participated in a compilation Destroy Music Now For A Better World Tomorrow, released by the label DMN São Paulo that counted from several underground bands of the Brazilian scene, Latin America and Europe.
Also participated in a live compilation Autonomia e o Caminho by the label Todo Tosco, with several bands from Vitoria Da Conquista and Face Da Bahia compilation only with bands from the state of Bahia, released by the zine A Celula.
Also participated in The Attack Kopilaçao The Sistem records released by Toskera and the compilation Bandeira Queimando Sua Boca Suja zine, It did not stop there, also released dvd Cama de Jornal live on stage at the rock from Salvador, the band issued Autonomia e o Caminho another project on DVD, also launched a Split / dvd Cama de Jornal and UZT and conquista underground. 

In 2011 the Cama de Jornal completed 10 years of punk rock and they invited nothing less than the legendary hardcore punk rock band Cólera for the party  and recorded a cd / dvd wich put them forever in the history of Brazilian hardcore punk rock, manly coz months later we became orphans of a Marvelous person, an odd man, a pioneer of the punk scene, a winner and revolutionary pacifist, Redson (Cólera) is no longer with us but alive in his work and in our hearts and minds.
Continuing the commemoration of 10 years in Cama de Jornal they did one mini tour in the Midwest, the land of pequi, Goiania and Brasilia.
In GOANIA GO at OLD STUDIO of our Old friend Marcelo (who already is part of Goias’s underground folklore), where played the bands Descarga Negativa, Geraçoes Perdidas, Entre Os Dentes Goiania, Horda Punk (SC) and Cama De Jornal (BA). That was how we started a friendship through the hardcore punk rock, and we will continue this story in Correntina (BA) July 14, CORRENTEZA  FEST.
